Abstract:
Electrical force is transmitted at light velocity c of magnitude c. A Particle of charge K and mass m, moving at time t with velocity v, in an electric field of intensity E and magnitude E, is subject to aberration of the field, where accelerating force is F = (KE/c)(c – v) = m(dv/dt). Aberration angle is between vectors c and (c – v). Particle of charge K is accelerated to velocity v = c as limit, at constant mass as rest mass mo, and with emission of radiation. This decrease of force F with velocity v gives same effect as apparent increase of mass with velocity in circular motion. Force F on moving charged particle, is less than force KE on stationary one, difference (F – KE) is radiation reaction force. Aberration of electric field is missing in physics. Relativistic and quantum mechanics are devised to fill the gap. The paper introduces radiative electrodynamics where radiation power is scalar product – v.(F – KE). Light speed c is obtained as limit for charged particle accelerated by electric field, without recourse to special relativity.
